About Myself

About Myself

Hi, my name is Rick Smith Jr. My journey of redemption started when I decided to abandon my “addict self” which included my old negative behaviors. I get it, and I’m here to help you on your new journey of living a new lifestyle.

I have been at bottoms in my life that had me feeling lost, hopeless, ashamed, and most of all, not wanting to live anymore. That’s what addiction does to us. It steals our soul and well being.

As a former addict with alcohol and drugs, I know what it’s like to search for that next high, to “numb out”. I’m here today to tell you that If I can change, so can you!

I no longer have the obsession to drink or use drugs. I know… it may seem far fetched with living a certain way for so long. But, when we make behavior changes and redirect our negative addictions into something positive, life completely changes and we can live an abundant life.

The chains of old behaviors can be broken. You can live a life of freedom from the bondage of negative behaviors. I have experienced it myself, and I have come in contact with 1000’s of people just like you, who didn’t know how to change, or gave up on themselves, and are now thriving in life.

Not just living, but having fun, being happy again, having a feeling of belonging in this world. Living with purpose. A new found, child like attitude, and most of all, loving themselves again!

I am happy and proud to share with you that I have over 19 years of being clean and sober from alcohol and drugs. It took work, an open mind, along with being coachable and teachable to allow my new self to blossom. By no means am I a perfect human being today, but I far prefer the man I am today from the previous one.

I coach and mentor people that want to change their life for the better, and to start a new lifestyle.

Certified in Change Psychology, I work with athletes, teams, small business, corporate wellness, and families.

With the adversity I have faced in my life, those experiences have allowed for me to be transparent, speaking in large group settings, in an effort to make an impact in many different ways.

Change is challenging but the definition of insanity is the ultimate sacrifice to change.

Meaning, doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result.

My mission is to share my story to as many people as possible, in an effort to help others that

journeys has given me a greater passion and purpose to help people change their behaviors.
My goal is to share how to analyze behavior to enhance someone’s life in all domains of human
experience. This process will show people how change can have a cascade effect to the next
generation. The good news is you can change your behaviors today and get the help you need,
